About Andrew

Andrew is driven by his personal mission to create a better world. . . for God. He has spoken around the world and draws from his experience working globally in education, ministry, youth leadership and development, and the commercial sector for over 30 years.  His faith is at the core of who he is and he uses that as a foundation to drive his mission forward. 
Andrew Macdonald’s purpose is to love God with heart, soul, mind & strength. His mission, therefore, is to serve Christ and help His church. He does this by drawing on 40 years experience in business, education and working for christian organizations. 
He has held senior executive positions in leading organizations across multiple arena’s  He holds an MBA from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, a Doctorate in Education from Northeastern University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Theology at the University of Notre Dame.

Living to serve . . . 

Dr. Macdonald is a devout Christian who seeks to bring his diverse knowledge and expertise to serve Christ.  He does this through speaking, writing, music and advising.

Speaking:  Andrew has spoken to groups in the thousands around the world. His style begins with heart, and uses a blend of knowledge and experience to inspire others to glorify God with their lives.  His current topic is called:  Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength: A story of conversion with song, where he combines both speaking and music to tell his story of conversion.

Writing:  Andrew has a blog where he writes on topics related to loving God with one’s heart, soul, mind and strength. In addition, Andrew’s new book, No Greater Love, will be out in the Fall of 2026.

 

Music:  Just over three years ago, Andrew began writing music.  He soon found this to be an additional way to convey his  Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength message.  He currently has over 25 songs and will be releasing his new album, Heart, Soul, Mind, Strength, in January 2026.

Advising:  With decades of experience working globally across multiple industries for both non-profit and for profit organizations, Andrew has developed a diverse and deep skill set in strategic planning, marketing and communications, advancement, education and operational excellence. He seeks to use these skills in helping Christian organizations, fulfill their mission. He has developed an implementation framework called “Build a Fire,” to help organizations realize the fullest potential of their work.
